Day 2 · Huab and Ugab Valleys

Depending on the final route, the day can include ancient rock art, petrified forests, geological formations and dry riverbeds used by desert-adapted elephants. The slower pace allows time to read tracks, photograph the landscape and understand how water shapes life in this arid region. The exact order of activities can be adjusted to weather, availability and the group's preferred pace. Day 3 · Rhino Tracking and Damaraland Wilderness
Join experienced conservation guides for a dedicated black rhino tracking excursion in a protected wilderness area. Travel by 4x4 and continue on foot when conditions are suitable, following signs while maintaining a respectful distance. Tracking success cannot be guaranteed, but the activity offers insight into the landscape, field skills and conservation work that support one of Africa's rarest large mammals. Fly or drive toward the remote Skeleton Coast, where roaring dunes, gravel plains and Atlantic fog create a stark landscape. Continue to the Hoarusib Valley for a 4x4 exploration of canyons, springs and dry river channels. Wildlife movements and sand conditions determine the exact route, making the day a genuine wilderness experience rather than a fixed sightseeing circuit.
