Our Destinations

We are based in Swakopmund, on the Namibian coast, but the routes we build reach well beyond the country we call home. Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia each bring something distinct to the table, and some of the most rewarding itineraries we put together move through two or three of them within a single trip, threading together landscapes and experiences that no single country could offer on its own.

Southern Africa still has something that is becoming harder to find almost everywhere else: vast parks with no fences in sight, salt pans that stretch further than the eye can follow, rivers running through mopane forest with barely another vehicle within earshot, and night skies so dense with stars that they take a moment to make sense of. The crowds that follow the well-worn safari circuit further east have not made their way here in the same numbers, and that is a large part of what makes this corner of the continent worth visiting now.

These are destinations we know from the ground up, through decades of guiding, tracking, and building relationships with the communities and operators who make these places work. We do not list destinations we cannot stand behind, and we do not send people to lodges or operators we have not vetted from direct, long-standing experience.

The four countries below are the ones we work in. Click on any of them to read about what each one offers, the best time to visit, and what kind of traveller it tends to suit.
